Reviving this topic as I don’t want to create the same one.
Previously…
8 month ago I created a swap partition and noticed after that I could sleep
or hibernate
my PC. I hadn’t needed that feature before, but now when I needed it the problem came…
The problem.
I have two options on my PC (KDE): sleep
and hibernate
. When I press sleep
the PC goes to sleep as expected and it’s ok, but when I press hibernate
the PC simply shuts down, but much faster than usually (its recovering the journal at boot then like something was crashed), so I have the same problem.
My question is: how can I hide, disable or remove the hibernate
button (to prevent it to be accidentally clicked) or fix this problem?
My system info under the spoiler below.
