The microphone input when using the combined headphone/microphone jack for a headset does not get recognised.
The internal mic is just garbage, it does pick up, but it sounds like a really bad robot with noise. It might be broken, i don’t mind, as long as i can get the combined headphone/microphone jack to work on headsets, however, if anyone has an idea about that, that would also be appreciated.
I found something that sounds very similar here: Headphone Mic doesn’t get detected
but I am not sure if i actually should make the same changes, since I have a different acer product. Basically i am a noob and don’t know how to check if the input is also for me a dummy output, namely Node 0x19.
