Having issue installing pandoc

I’ve been trying to install (through the GUI) pandoc without success and find the following error report. I waited a couple hours and tried again with the same result.

Is it something I’m doing wrong or an issue with haskell web site? Some appear to state that the download started and others failed.

Thank you.

The issue has nothing to do with the package you’re trying to install. You’re receiving a 404 error from your mirrors.

See Pacman-mirrors - Manjaro

Thanks. I refreshed the mirrors and tried again and get the same errors.
Stupid question, perhaps, and I can see the 404 errors but is it not odd that all 18 mirrors can’t find the pages?

I didn’t pick the mirrors but it appears they span the nation from Vermont to California such that a local outage would not be the issue; but I don’t know anything about how all that works.

What can I do to investigate further? Thanks.

It is odd. Also another user seems to be having a similar issue.

Thank you. Whatever it was, it must have been resolved now because I tried again and pandoc installed successfully.

Never make that assumption:

Keep in mind you can also choose the fastest mirrors globally:

sudo pacman-mirrors --fasttrack && sudo pacman -Syu pandoc
