I remember having some error like this to, can’t find how I solved it tho, but it had something to do with adding an extra option to hooks /etc/mkinitcpio.conf HOOKS="base shutdown udev autodetect modconf block keyboard keymap plymouth filesystems"
It could be the shutdown option as mentioned in one of the posts on the arch linux forum.
One other that could be a solution
Recently Manjaro takes much longer to shut down(feels like minutes sometimes, but i did not time it), and just before it does, for a second there is red and white text on the screen.
