Graphical issues on pure Qt applications when setting global scale above 100%

It seems this happens whenever I set display scaling above 100%. KDE and gnome applications seem unaffected but on Qt applications pictures and icons look somehow distorted. The size of widgets is fine though. My graphical desktop envinroment is KDE

and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

  1. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
  2. QT Applications need to be designed with scalability in mind so without knowing which applications exactly, it’s going to be hard to help you much further.
