Google Chrome and shortcuts system settings

Hello everybody,

I have to face the most serious problem of the world : each time i launch Google Chrome, the shortcuts settings window is opened too.

Well, it’s a bit annoying.
Any idea ?

Does how you launch the browser make any difference (does it happen for instance for both command line and application launcher)?

And by “shortcuts settings window” do you mean the Plasma one or does Chrome have a shortcuts setting window?

Also, unless you need something specifically from Chrome could you try Chromium, which is in the extra repo and would save having to use AUR.

It’s a Known Issue.

On GNOME, yes, but the OP uses Plasma.

Thanks everybody for your answers.

I tried with X11, no problem.
Under Wayland, i had “–disable-features=GlobalShortcutsPortal” to my Chrome shortcut, and it’s working.

Have a nice day !

Good job.
