Hi all,
i have a problem with the keyboard of my Fujitsu Lifebook U7410.
The keyboard works just fine in BIOS, LUKS decryption and GRUB, but as soon as a kernel is loaded, it stops working.
It also works in a USB live booted environment and during the installation of the OS.
Already tried different kernels as well as XFCE and KDE as desktop environments but didn’t notice any changes.
I’m using a USB keyboard as a workaround at the moment, but I would love the get rid of this issue.
Thanks in advance
Fabby

Remember when you installed your very first Windows, added bells and whistles and then couldn’t see the wood for the trees any more and had to re-install?
Well, you’re in the same situation now: You’re a N00b again! Embrace it!
I know right now you’re thinking:
Why is this so much more difficult than Windows? [image]
Whereas in 6 months time, you’ll be like:
Why can't I make Windows jump through fiery hoops like I do with Linux??? <a class="lightbox&qu…
Especially the Linux has multiple kernels section, then try an LTS kernel and hopefully the problem will go away “automagically”.

Within those kernels I tried, there were 5.10 (LTS), 5.4 (LTS), 4.19 (LTS) and 4.9 (LTS).
The keyboard worked on none of them.
I read a lot of USB hubs - have tried removing every connected usb devices?

Yes I tried that as well, sadly without success.
