Fn key with brightness

Hello, it looks like this is a recurring issue on your end:

Brightness Fn+... Doesn't work

Cant change brightness settings with keys. When im pressing Fn+F5-F6 the icon about changing brightness is showing up but an actuall brightness is not changing at all.

Just a couple of ideas:

1. Please provide the output of the file /var/log/pacman.log, relevant to the latest update. This will help other users in figuring out what changed on your system.

2. Depending on your hardware, you may or may not need to add an acpi kernel parameter. Sometimes, acpi kernel parameters have to do with the proper functioning of the function keys. See below:
