This solved the issue for me (Fabby’s solution).

Baloo is not indexing most files

My apologies for being confusing: Stop baloo: balooctl disable Set first run to true: nano --backup ~/.config/baloofilerc Purge the DB and re-enable balooctl purge balooctl enable Wait Are all files except the exclusions being indexed now?

You need to purge the database and ensure ‘first run’ is set to true.
