ERROR: Unable to load the 'nvidia-drm' kernel module - installing Nvidia drivers help

Good day!

I’ve run into an issue trying to run an Nvidia driver and I’m relatively new to Manjaro. I can’t link to the guide I used, new account restrictions and all.

I’m running an RX 580 as my main GPU and an GeForce 1650 as a secondary GPU; mainly meant to passthrough for a VM (which I’m struggling with too, but that’s for another day).

I’d get through the installation process okay, but then it all just falls apart near the end with “ERROR: Unable to load the ‘nvidia-drm’ kernel module - installing Nvidia drivers help”. Is there a different way to run Nvidia drivers?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

You can share links but not as links because of new account restriction, select it and click the </> button to share it as code.

P.S. @omano Please save the above link and use that, because it not only explains things, but also provides a workaround.
