EasyEffects: How do I get the equalizer?

How do I get the equalizer?

The message tells you what you’re missing. Check the Optional Deps:

pacman -Qi easyeffects

Ok, so how do I get the equalizer?

Moderator edit: Removed useless screenshot

I just told you.

Hint: Repeating the same question without reviewing the answer just given is counterproductive.

Please do not post screenshots of text.

Also please note that I’ve moved your post to separate topic. Please do not ask for support in a #contributions:tutorials thread.

Yea I did the command and no equalizer.

…and didn’t read anything.

Tip: Blindly copying and pasting commands without understanding what they do is not a good idea.

However, in this case the command is for your information and does not actually do anything to your system.

I just moved your post again. Please stop posting in the Tutorial thread.

This is what it shows. So how do I get the equalizer?

Again, I’m asking here. How do I get the equalizer. I reviewed your answer and it does not give me anything on how to get the equalizer.

I’m aware of what the output is–why do you think I asked you to review the output of the command? Try reading it this time.

:information_source: I think your browser cache is lagging behind. Please press Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page.

As I said, I moved your post from there to here. You should be here, not there.

Sigh. I have a simple question. How do I get the equalizer. You gave me an answer with that output. What about that output gives me the answer to how to get the equalizer?

I gave you a simple answer.

Yes, I did. Now it’s up to you to read and comprehend it.

That’s now the third time you’ve asked that. Why are you asking the same question over and over expecting different results?

Keyword: equalizer

Jesus Christ. I don’t mean to be rude here, but excuse me for not being as knowledgeable as you. I have read it, and I don’t comprehend it. I love you guys, but you really have to stop this talking down to us noobs like you expect us to know everything you know. I have read it and I don’t get what you’re getting at.

Now, please, without making me go through the ringer. What. Do. I. Need. To. Do. To. Get. The. Equalizer. Please?

Do you find - when actually reading it - the word “equalizer” in the output of the command that you where given and which you even posted here?

… but you are - if not rude then obnoxious and what can only be described as “willfully ignorant”
because you don’t get served the command that would solve your problem

How am I being willfully ignorant when I literally don’t understand what you guys are talking about???

I tried that earlier and got a ton of stuff

There’s like 5 more pages of this.

read the damn output -
that you yourself provided
and then perhaps ask, what about it you don’t understand

is the word “equalizer” in there or is it not?

I did read it and yes the word equalizer is there. Now what?

Maybe someone will tell you
I will not.

at least try to think and follow context …

I’m out of here.

Why bother coming here if you don’t want to help?

wrong assumption - wrong conclusion
