I’m not exactly sure what has caused this issue but my system is setup pretty complicated and I’m not sure I can explain it properly but I will try.
First I am on unstable.
I am using 2 kernels : 6.17 and 6.12
I am on Plasma version 6.4.4
I am mounting a NAS drive folder with systemd
[Unit]
Description=server music mount
[Mount]
What=//192.168.68.15/Music
Where=/home/demo/mnt/server/music
Type=cifs
Options=_netdev,rw,file_mode=0700,dir_mode=0700,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8
TimeoutSec=30
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
[Unit]
Description=server music mount
[Automount]
Where=/home/demo/mnt/server/music
TimeoutIdleSec=10
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
It was working as expected and I don’t know if an update caused this or something else.
I would like some help to troubleshoot.
If have to wait for an update to fix it that is fine.
I just want to know if this is a known issue or it is just my system the way it is configured.
Let me know what other info you need.
Thanks
Edit:
I found out what my problem was.
I had connected an external drive to the Laptop via usb.
I used dolphin to look at the files on the drive.
I pulled the usb cable out.
Evidently when you do that dolphin upon restart looks for the last drive it was connected to and tries to open that when you start dolphin.
As soon as I plugged in the drive dolphin started right up.
I guess I will make sure I change to the local drive when I exit dolphin from now on unless there is some setting I can set to stop this from happening.
Edit 2:
I had to make sure it was unmounted before I disconnected it.
Now all working fine.
