Dolphin always opens in a small window. Window Rules don't seem to do anything

I’m currently facing a mildly annoying issue, where each time I open a new Dolphin window, it starts up small, only showing 2 columns and 5 rows.

I tried setting up Window Rules for dolphin mutliple times in multiple ways, however they never seem to actually have any effect on Dolphin.

I’d appreciate any help on this issue!

Try removing all krules, ~/.config/dolphinrc file and ~/.local/share/dolphin folder.

System Settings → Worskpace → Window Management → Window Behavior

Click on the Advanced tab. Tick the checkbox labeled “Allow apps to support the position of their own windows, if they support it”.

Doing that works once, but if I launch Dolphin again after that, it goes back to the way it was before.

If I enable the option, the size of the window doesn’t change, but it ends up opening on the wrong monitor as well, so it just ends up causing even more problems.
