Hi,
I have a screen refresh issue, the upper 1/4 of the screen is not refreshing regularly.
So sometimes it takes 1-3 seconds and after some time the refreshing of the upper part of the screen is almost stopped (once per 5 minutes or so).
I had previously a major screen flickering issue, and when I use other kernels (eg. 6.0.2-2) the system is either unable to boot or has the flickering which is an even worse issue the this here. I was able to solve the screen flickering via this forum post (Display flickering on mouse move).
When I add an external monitor via HDMI, this one is working perfectly (see xrandr, Screen 0 is the internal laptop display which has issues).
I fear this is a Kernel issue but I don’t know where / how to report that. I hope someone can help me resolve this behaviour as I am using the laptop more mobile again (so without the external monitor) and then this is a big pain.
When I switch to TTY2 (CTRL+ALT+F2) the behaviour is way better (refreshes in ~250ms) the error only occurs when the screen scrolls very fast (eg. cat /etc/systemd/journald.conf) its noticable but not as bad as in the XFCE session.
I tried to change the resolution (and therefor the screen refresh rate to 60 hz) but the laptop display is always deactivated, regardless which configuration I try - So it seems I am stuck at 90hz and the max resolution.
Thanks in advance for any tips and if I lacked to provide something important for finding the cause please tell me what information is needed.
