Could You please help me, what is the problem and how can I solve it?

I am new in the world of Linux and I like the Manjaro.

Thanks for Your help in advance.

Is the system up to date?
Rebooted after kernel update?
What kind of device is it?
Do you positively know it is working?
Have you tried a different port - or a different cable?

Please format terminal output as “preformatted text” for readability → this symbol: </>

Sorry - imprecise language on my part.
What I wanted to know is what kind of device was it that failed - not the computer, but the other side of the equation :upside_down_face:

I used a pendrive to install the system, then I removed it from the laptop. That’s all.

System information only needs to be provided once; usually, in the first post. If you have already provided system information and it’s incomplete or needs to be updated, a Member might ask you edit the post accordingly. Otherwise, just politely point them to the post concerned (they might have missed it).

You have provided very little description of your issue; we can see that it’s likely a USB device of some kind, but beyond that we can only guess.

I see you read how to use preformatted text for command output. Thank you. Now, if you could also read “How to Post” and “How to Request Support” I’m sure these will be beneficial.

It’s possible that the ISO wasn’t written to USB correctly; or that the device is of poor quality, or wasn’t properly erased.

Ventoy is highly recommended rather than physically writing an ISO to USB. I wrote a tutorial for creating a Ventoy USB recently; I hope you find it useful:

Did you remove it before installation had completed?

Regards.

No, I removed after the restart, but it stopped with black screen. So, I removed the pendrive and it restarted.

Does this pendrive give you these messages when you plug it in and unplug it?
Does it work? - the drive, I mean.
