Davinci Resolve won't start with Nvidia

Hello everyone, on LM 20, I was able to successfully run Davinci Resolve, the free and studio version.
However on Manjaro it won’t start up,

I’m not sure what would cause this , but I hope to resolve this, so that I may ditch Premiere Pro – which I use on a Windows 10 VM, I know your gonna kill me :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

You have an Optimus laptop, you need to actually run it with nvidia (using prime), not just mention it in the title :stuck_out_tongue:

I tried DRI_PRIME=1 /opt/resolve/bin/resolve and DRI_PRIME=0 /opt/resolve/bin/resolve but got the exact same output.
However, when I ran prime-run /opt/resolve/bin/resolve I got:

I think I understand the the problem - sort of - now, so I have to switch the GPU used by the system to the Nvidia, but that I do not know ho to do :sweat_smile:, on LM there used to be a cinnamon applet on which I used to right click, select Nvidia Performance and log out and then log back in, and wala! done!
But there is no applet for Manjaro KDE :disappointed:
