I tried to change the keyboard shortcuts of “Switch to workspace n” to Super + n
from settings menu. But it opens some applications.

following some other forums, I thought the issue might be with dash-to-dock gnome extension but it was disabled, I disabled it again! ( enabling and disabling, hoping to see some changes!!) but that didn’t work. What should I do?
