Oh, what is your computer’s serial number, may I ask?

Sorry for leaving during your help last night, but I was falling asleep :sweat_smile:

is this the adapter? intel/ibt-19-32-4.sfi :thinking:

  • Reboot (to ensure the adapter is not napping)

  • Execute this:

     inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --width | grep --ignore-case blue

    That’ll tell us everything including MAC and serial numbers!
    Add --filter if you don’t want to divulge that much info.

Hey! The command only return this? :thinking:

[connor@StarReach ~]$  inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --width | grep --ignore-case blue

Can’t find 3-10:5 in your lsusb output. Can you give us an lspci too, please?
And to have all information, please post an inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width too!

:thinking:

of course!:slight_smile:

Well, Let’s see what the :canada: group has to say, but AFAI’m concerned, you have a choice between using a Bluetooth mouse XOR (sleep AND cabled mouse)

Which is more important to you?

Last-ditch effort: try kernel 5.4 LTS (Long Term support) before we blacklist sleep XOR Bluetooth…

:man_shrugging:

Same issue sadly :frowning: I will just resort to purchasing another Bluetooth dongle :sweat_smile:

Before you do that: let’s try to blacklist Bluetooth first…

(Currently it’s just a hunch and my hunches are only 95% correct, wouldn’t want you to waste any :money_with_wings: :money_with_wings: :money_with_wings: yet!)

:+1:

How do I blacklist the wee madam :smile:

Nah, let’s wait for the :canada: team to wake up so we can have a discussion before I push you down a road they might not agree with. (They are as good as me, if not better…)

:grin:

Howdy!! :smile:

Let’s try different modules, as your bluetooth device appears to be an off brand one…

May open a terminal and input sudo pacman -S yay --noconfirm && yay -S broadcom-bt-firmware-git realtek-firmware btintel-default-address-dkms

then reboot! :grin:

Howwd :smiley:

I have just tried that there, when I try and run the command I get a pgp general error :thinking:

:: PGP keys need importing:
 -> 4CDE8575E547BF835FE15807A31B6BD72486CFD6, required by: realtek-firmware
==> Import? [Y/n] y
:: Importing keys with gpg...
gpg: keyserver receive failed: General error
problem importing keys

That is fantastic, if not sarcastic :sweat_smile:…
We may omit this one for now, so lets try the following: sudo pacman -S yay --noconfirm && yay -S broadcom-bt-firmware-git btintel-default-address-dkms
