I also have noticed that Timeshift is not working, it let me to add the partition and the process completes, but i don’t see any backup in the list. its simply empty.

TimeShift: new rsync snapshots do not show

• There seems to be an incompatibility between TimeShift and rsync . Users with the issue would be welcome to contribute, in order help find the origin of this issue.
• In the meantime, downgrade rsync in order to retrieve the functionality.
