Audacious music player doesn't like pipewire?

I installed Audacious from the repo, and when I try to play music, I get the error
error opening output stream
But if I go to Audacious/Settings/Audio/Output settings/Output plugin
and I choose PulseAudio output
The playback works correctly.
I tested the Audacious beta version offered on AUR, and it’s no better.

It looks like this poster had the same problem as me:

It works in my case, maybe it is something Plasma related or driver related, because that inxi is pretty different from mine, i am on XFCE

The solution turned out to be: install manjaro-pipewire
I discovered that I actually posted about a very similar issue once before, related to a previous installation of Manjaro:

It seems that there is still something sub-optimal about the default audio setup for Manjaro.
