i want to play android games like Pubg Mobile,Ark Ultimate survival,Utopia, etc.
Youâd probably want to look at Android emulators, how to install and use them?
ya but i dont know which emulator can run in manjaro linux.if you know which is the best anrdroid emulator for manjaro then please tell me;
Waydroid looked good to me⌠I used that for a while.
Every Android emulator that runs on any Linux will also run on Manjaro.
I donât know which one is âbestâ.
It doesnât depend on whether Manjaro or some other distribution is used.
It might be more difficult to use some AUR packages on Manjaro stable, though.
brother i having error to run waydroid.
waydroid first-launch
[14:11:05] Starting waydroid session
[14:11:05] WAYLAND_DISPLAY is not set, defaulting to âwayland-0â
[14:11:05] Wayland socket â/run/user/1000/wayland-0â doesnât exist; are you running a Wayland compositor?
If I remember correctly:
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
in a terminal
will tell you, whether you are running a wayland session or a x11 session.
You can select which one on the login screen - waydroid only works on wayland
I tried it but when i start waydroid the result is something like this
(here where pictures with nothing discernible in them)
I have removed your pictures.
If you must post pictures, use Imgur.com oder 0x0.com or some other sharing service, please.
They give you a link to what you uploaded - share that here.
what are you talking i cant understand
Itâs better now, I presume - I accidentally typed in german.
Hare is my screen shots now check it
any idea how it can be solved
I havenât got the slightest idea.
I never used Waydroid - and I do not run a wayland session, never have.
Iâm on Xfce.
Perhaps @Ben can suggest something.
I forgot now, I had a go last year to run my podcast app (Pocket Casts) and a few other bits, but I remember it wasnât too simple to set up⌠I couldnât walk you through it.
I donât use Waydroid but I see there are reports of the graphical display being garbled when dual GPUs are in use, see this report for instance (which has a link to a script to choose the GPU):
There is also a bit in the wiki saying nvidia GPUs have issues.
I donât know what sort of GPU you have. You might want to share your set-up, for instance the output of inxi -zv8
might help to find someone with a set-up similar to yours.
Remember to format the output properly as described in [HowTo] Find system information
(for instance paste the inxi output, highlight it, and use the </>
in the message toolbar)
