I’ve looked through the numerous no-display manjaro support posts, but have not found a solution for AMD yet. I have a Samsung monitor with a built in KVM switch that runs seamlessly on Windows10 and my previous Manjaro Ideapad (3500U). However after upgrading to Renoir with an HP Omen 15, Manjaro will no longer allow a connection to the monitor. Worse yet it momentarily provides access to the keyboard/mouse connected to the monitor before noping-out.
I’ve tried using the AUR package for optimus-manager with AMD. Switching to AMD mode, however this does not alleviate the issues. (link removed, no links allowed)
I have installed XRANDR (xorg-xrandr-1.5.1-2) however this has not helped either.
The devices INXI data is listed below, if anyone could point me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it.

I think this is the same issue .
Have you tried the nvidia mode? That’s the one that should work.

This indicates that the nvidia driver is not loaded/installed. Can you run sudo mhwd -f -i pci video-hybrid-amd-nvidia-450xx-prime
and then post the output of pacman -Qqs nvidia-450xx
?

I see now. The 450xx drivers are not available for the 5.9 kernel, only the 455xx (and only in the unstable branch). Since that’s a beta driver, I cannot recommend it. I suggest you install linux-latest
, reboot and select the 5.8 kernel in the GRUB menu, then uninstall the 5.9 kernel, and try again. Or do you have any reason for using an rc kernel?
