After installing nvidia drivers, manjaro would not boot and got stuck on the acer loading screen

I installed nvidia drivers and then after that i restarted and it got stuck in the loading screen for 40 ish minutes. I had to reinstall the OS as i could not enter the bios. Some help would be loved <3.

Hello and welcome,

So, you did not read the topic i linked? Minimum would be, from terminal:
inxi -Fxxxza --no-host
But in order to post it here formatted, please check how to do it properly

sorry, im really tired rn so just jumped to something.

done now, edited last one

Probably that model requires to use custom kernel boot parameters like:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="ivrs_ioapic[4]=00:14.0 ivrs_ioapic[5]=00:00.2 pti=off i8042.nopnp"

but maybe not, and you will have to pay particular attention to those IDs.
For now don’t do that please, but keep it in mind!

Since is a hybrid GPU laptop, the proper way to install the drivers would be like described here:

Sorry i had to point you to the old forum, but for now, this is what it is.

Make sure you install another kernel, that one is EOL.

im ever so sorry but im new here, what does EOL mean and how do I install a new kernal? Thank you so much! That post you showed me worked but now i need to get my game to run with my GPU  Thanks for the help!

EOL means - end of life - will no longer be maintained/provided

To install new kernel you either use the Manjaro Settings Manager = MSM > Kernel
or from terminal, for example:
sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux57
Kernel 54 is also good to have as is LTS = long time support

Thanks alot for the help.
