Zotero without libdbus-glib-1.so.2

I install zotero beta version and run it

    /opt/zotero  ./zotero  255 ✘
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /opt/zotero/libxul.so:
libdbus-glib-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

How can I deal with it?

I had the same issue. Finally I installed Zotero with Flatpak and it works perfectly.

Thanks for your reply. But actually, I use the beta version 5.097 and flatpak can only install

Ok! I hope you’ll find a solution.

Do you have dbus-glib installed?
Since that package provides the missing file.

Yes I install it but it still show this error.

And similar situation presents here, forum.manjaro. org/t/error-about-libappindicator3-so-1/62973
I have installed libappindicator.

I finally solve it

download deb file first

debtap -q zotero-beta_2021.04.19_amd64.deb
sudo pacman -U zotero-beta-2021.04.19-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Now, Zotero beta version is landing.
You can use yay -S zotero-beta to install it. This package is updated by me.
See here, if you think the beta version on AUR is great and convenient for you, come and vote.
