The latest update killes the downloader GUI…I wanted to report that to the maintainer, but I installed something that has an unknown maintainer 
and that is bad…
Anyway…I assume it is reported…

I just built and opened the ytdownloader package successfully on my system. I also downloaded a Youtube video via the GUI.
It is an AUR package, so did you rebuild it after the update? Many AUR packages need rebuilding after updates.
or you can use clipgrab which is already in the standard repos and call it a day

Ah, THAT I neglected…thanks. I’ll try a rebuild. AUR is the last resort for me…after all the rest failed, so I rarely use it, sorry…
