I got a brand new NVMe SSD and I’m planning to install Manjaro this weekend using the latest ISO from Github. I wanted to test the ISO on an old SSD and found one that had Manjaro installed on it: Ornara 21.0.2, last updated on April 19, 2021 (with Gnome desktop). So, instead of testing the ISO I thought: lets have some fun and update the installation.
After 30 min (fixing a few package conflicts and keyring updates) I’m running current Manjaro with kernel 6.6 and writing this post.
So a big thank you to the Manjaro team - you are doing an awesome job!
UPDATE: I now installed using the latest ISO and everything is running fine
