Using the Xfce Screensaver, after login/boot I need to open the screensaver settings and change any setting and revert it back in order to get the screensaver to be active.
The Xfce Screensaver program is listed in the ‘Session and Autostart’ settings to run on login.
After login I can see Xfce Screensaver listed as a running process.
However the screensaver itself will never activate until I enter its settings and change something and revert it back.
This used to work correctly but it’s been a while since it became broken and I can no longer remember exactly when it became broken.
