Hi, I have been having an issue with my install of Manjaro where after a certain point the desktop does not show icons anymore. All other functions are there, and the desktop and trash still appear in Thunar. Unfortunately, this happened a few months ago and I naively thought it will eventually “go away”, so I don’t really have ideas as to why it happened. I have compiz installed but I have disabled it. Using -Sy for thunar, lightdm, and xdesktop didn’t change anything either. I would assume it’s some missing file, but I do not know where to start. I also tried executing xfce-pbw.sh as suggested in some other threads but I got nowhere as well as you can see in the other image.
