I am running Manjaro Cinnamon with a 5.9.0-l-MANJARO kernel on a Ryzen 5 1500X and a Radeon 5080-based graphics card. I installed WINE and Lutris and have WoW running well… except occasionally the screen freezes for a few seconds every once in a while. This is merely annoying for questing (which I will be doing come 26 October when Shadowlands drops) but is devastating for raids and Mythics. Any solutions before I start disabling graphics features?
How have you installed wow? My advice is to install it with the Lutris, the script provided does quite a lot to improve the experience. Moreover I’ve been using the wine lutris-5.7
build and this I found works best.
No hitches for me in over a hundred hours, this was in classic though.
