Wired headphone: no sound but device output shows otherwise

I have a wired headphone connected from back of motherboard “Line Out”. In sound settings, output device shows “Line Out - Starship/Matisse HD Audio” and indicator shows there’s sound when I play something. However, I cannot hear anything.
