Wine-staging 5.6 /5.7

I’m using Manjaro Linux 20.1 ; Kernel version 5.8.6.1 ; 64 bit ; core i3 CPU 3.30GHz.

From Pacman Manager I can only found wine-staging 5.17 .
But I want to install wine-staging 5.6/5.7 -64bit . I need a proper guide to install and configure wine. Please help me.

Hello,

The simplest way to deal with different wine versions is to make use of PlayOnLinux
With it you can deal with multiple wineprefix and each use a different version of wine. Also you can chose between 32 or 64bit versions of them.
Here you can find all the details required to deal with it and properly configure it

I’ve marked the below answer as the solution to your question as it is by far the best answer you’ll get.

However, if you disagree with my choice, please feel free to take any other answer as the solution to your question or even remove the solution altogether: You are in control! (I just want to avoid even more subjective opinions being posted and confusing you even more)

:innocent:
P.S. In the future, please mark a solution like this:

so that the next person that has the exact same problem you just had will benefit from your post as well as your question will now be in the “solved” status.
