Wine not working

Hi
I installed wine along with winetricks, wine-mono and wine_gecko using Pacman.

When I try to run winecfg, I get the following errors and the Wine Configuration GUI never opens.

and my wine --version is wine-5.22.

I am on the same kernel and KDE stable and the same wine version.
This is the output of winecfg command from the terminal, and I could say that finally the winecfg window appeared.

Are you using wine or wine-staging, if you downgrade the package still the same problem?

I am using wine. wine and wine-staging both are 5.22-1 for some reason. I am currently waiting for the process to complete, as suggested above. If it doesn’t work, I might downgrade to wine-stable in AUR which is 5.0.3-1 version.

You don’t have version 5.21 in the cache folder. Pacman stores downloaded packages in
/var/cache/pacman/pkg/ and does not remove old or uninstalled versions automatically.

After waiting for an hour like @j8a suggested, nothing happened so I decided to terminate it. It gave the following errors after that.

For some reason, it can’t create a window

I have wine 5.22-1, wine-mono 5.10-1 and winetricks 20200412-1 installed on the KDE Plasma.

I was looking for a solution to this problem. Wine simply refused to start.

I tried some commands and it worked again !!! :astonished:

I am using the 5.22 version of wine.
