Octopi removed from the repos

The removal of octopi from the repositories was also immediately reversed again after one day due to protest from the community. (I was one of the protesters.)

I dont understand this action.
Why was it performed?
What triggered the bot?

Upon closer inspection, maybe ‘FuzzyBot’ is a user and not actually a bot.

In whatever case it also appears that whomever did these things did them ‘fully’ … meaning they cannot be undone or reverted. The content is simply gone. Nice one.
