Wifi won't connect after standby

Hello community,

First off, I’m not a great cli user when it comes to system analysis or preferences.

I’ve got the problem, that after each time I turn my Thinkpad X1 1st Gen into standby it’s Wifi won’t come back to life.
It doesn’t find any networks to connect.
Turning the wifi off and on again or going into flight mode and back doesn’t work either.
Waiting for 10 minutes also doesn’t help.
Only a full reboot recovers my wifi connection. Weird.

After some googling around I found a guy here on the forum who looked up the correct wifi device and the driver that’s been used by it with the “inxi -b” command.

Has anybody an idea what I could do to fix this?

Here is my output from the inxi command:

➜ ~ inxi -b

I solved a similar issue by disabling the energy saver in bios for wifi.

Does this also happen with the 5.10 LTS (Long Term Support) Kernel???
