WiFi not working after a dual boot

Hi  . I apologize if there is any gammer mistake in this . I’m not a native english speaker. I’m having an issue on this pc with manjaro :slightly_smiling_face: . As i mentioned in the heading , i had Manjaro single booted on my system. 2 days ago i installed Archcraft alongside Manjaro . I didn’t faced any issues while installing. Then i booted into Archcraft and i noticed that WiFi is not working . Then i used ethernet in Archcraft , bcz i dont use archcraft too much. Then i booted into Manjaro and noticed that WiFi not working in manjaro also  . WiFi was woking perfectly on Manjaro till the installation on Archcraft.

This is my inxi output

I think the driver is missing. I’m still a newbie at linux. I’m sure that you guys cam help me with this :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Although Kernel 4.14 is LTS, I would try with a different kernel to begin with. I would try with 5.4 LTS or 5.10LTS. It would be a good idea to install the kernel headers for the corresponding kernel as well. You can do this by going to Manjaro Settings Manager-Kernels section, Install kernel and reboot. Make sure that your system is fully updated.

It looks like this wifi chip requires the broadcom wl driver. In pamac, install the corresponding wl software for your kernel e.g. linux414-broadcom-wl or linux54-broadcom-wl etc. A reboot may be necessary here as well.

Also, don’t forget the obvious like maybe your laptop has a hard switch for turning wifi on or off, or in Network Manager(in tray) that "Enable Wifi is not checked.
