Hello, I have a fresh Manjaro install (dual boot) on a new laptop. The wifi drops out when I don’t use it. Strangely, when it’s dropped, if I open networks on the task bar and keep it open with mouse over, it starts up again.
I’m relatively new to linux/Manjaro. Any suggestions welcome. Please let me know what system info/logs would be useful to diagnose.
Thanks.

I am having an issue with my dell xps 15 9520 in term of the Wi-Fi speed. I’m getting 3 mbps whereas my full internet speed is 90 mbps. The connection works as expected with a cable. I had the same issue on other distros too, but on Pop OS there is this fix, where you set wifi.powersave = 2 in /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf.
Is there a similar fix for Manjaro?
EDIT:
I also added these lines in /etc/modprobe.d/wifi.conf

Hello!
I have a Dell 7420 with Manjaro KDE
Linux dell 5.15.74-3-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Oct 15 13:39:11 UTC 2022 x86_64 GNU/Linux
everything works (except for fingerprint, not supported) but the WiFi. It is fine most of the time but, seems randomly, every 1-2 months or sometimes after 1-2 weeks, it stops working.
The connections drops, the Network Manager widget shows no networks, and the only way to make it work again is shutting down and start again the laptop.
Note that a “restart” wo…

This may be normal - you likely need to go over your power settings.
Thanks for the advice so far.
I’m testing the bios adjustment as described here , I’ve reviewed power settings already. So ruled out that as an issue. I have not resolved the issue. Meanwhile:

I have exactly the same issue on a Dell latitude 5410 with same adapter. It happened twice and now can’t resume wifi at all.
Did you fix it?
No. I’ll let you know if I work it out. If you could share anything that works too it would be appreciated.
Simply disable wifi powersave mode

I did this and everything seems fine (been 2 days)
nmcli networking on
Yes, it’s got to do with power save wifi mode.
I hope I disabled it everywhere in settings
