I rebooted a couple of times last night and then went to sleep. I can reboot once more.

No sure if I need that package or something else but it lead me to this:

Still no change.

Ok, you did a reboot after upgrade, right? That was not clear.

Alright…

From what I see here, is that it gets loaded… actually it should work.

Should there not be a driver associated with the network device?

vendor: Hewlett-Packard driver: N/A modules: rtw89_8852ce pcie: gen: 2

You’re using kernel version 6.12, and the device is supported by kernel versions 5.18 and newer according to the LKDDb

So, perhaps it is blacklisted. Please provide the output of:

ls -l /etc/modprobe.d/

That is somewhat strange…

Source seems to be the same in lwfinger and linux sources… I thought there is maybe a problem with detection of the device… maybe it is the newer firmware…

Maybe try lw89 dkms module?
