WiFi-card not recognized (Intel Wireless-AC 9260)

Hi there, i just installed Manjaro.

I wanted to use WiFi, but as i found out, my WiFi-card is not recognized.

nmcli device status yields:

DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION
enp34s0 ethernet connected Kabelgebundene Verbindung 1
lo loopback unmanaged --

But as you can see in the specs, the card is showing up, but not as giving a wlan-connection.
That is weird, because Bluetooth works fine.

I tried updating the driver with: www . intel . de/content/www/de/de/support/articles/000005511/wireless.html
As it was suggested in this thread with a similar topic: archived . forum . manjaro . org/t/intel-8260-wifi-no-network-connections-after-recent-update/128360/6
(Just remove the spaces between the dots)
But it did not work.

How should I proceed?

Here are the specs:

Hi, @crepper710

In fact, unlike other people who have this kind of problem, your card is fully recognized and the iwlwifi driver is even loaded (see network section). The problem is that this driver does not work correctly hence the reason that your wifi is not recognized.

I hope this is the correct page you put and saw that it was also compatible with the AX 201=>driver intel iwlwifi

The solution from what I saw would be to recomplile the kernel, however I do not recommend it because it requires good knowledge on your side and at least also that I do not have. After others have it here.

However, we can already try 3 or 4 things.

Install 3 software available on Aur

iwlwifi-next then linux-firmware-iwlwifi-git then rt89-dkms-git

Think to reboot each time.

A last solution exists to go to the kernel 5.16, this problem should be solved with this kernel but it is not guaranteed and in addition it is not lts unlike 5.15

When you uninstall one of these software, do it not graphically and using the -Rs option to remove everything.

I also saw that some people with this driver add options like in this thread

A last word: you can use for your mouse rivalcfg and for your device razer polychromatic. and perhaps too openrgb website/github page

Good luck.
