Why windows restart several times during installation and Linuxes don't?

I think windows tries to match the hardware and tries to install a suitable kernel (or something).

If it’s good for Linux OS es compatibility, they may do this. Or not? (Only for desktop or laptop)
Sometimes Ubuntu based systems fails to detect WiFi adapter and many operating system fails to sleep.

Its because windoze handles everything from device detection, to filesystems, and software in general rather terribly.
For specifics … read one of their manuals.
Your ‘problems’ with other OSs have nothing to do with some sort of innovative windoze installation process thing that linux fails to implement.

(as this doesnt resemble a serious development thread … I have also moved it to general support)
