Which is a good webcam compliant with Manjaro?

Hallo,
I am using a mini PC minis-forum, and I am looking for a webcam.
I would like to have high video quality, so thinking about to buy a webcam such as Logitech Brio 4K, for example.
Anyway, most of the webcam out there are not compatible with Linux, or at least not so well supported. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

What is a good webcam recommend for Manjaro? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Any good or bad experience will be very much appreciated if shared.
Thank you in advance :smiley_cat:

Not any official support answer, but I have personally used the Brio on my Manjaro PC, and it worked fine. As far as picture quality I found it was more dependent on individual apps. Some only used 720p (like Google Meet). I never tested Zoom. Skype looked good, and using the capture utility it looked great, like native resolution.

Most recent webcams are UVC (USB Video Class) compliant and are supported by the generic uvcvideo kernel driver module.

Basically, take any recent one that don’t give too much promotion to a proprietary software to use it, and you’ll be fine.
