Which driver for dedicated Nvidia card in mobile workstation?

Hi,

i got a new device a few weeks ago (refurbished HP ZBook with a seperate secondary Nvidia Quadro T2000 graphics adapter built in).

Currently i am running KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland with the Intel UHD Graphics 630 adapter, but i would like to use the Nvidia at least for some rendering work (e.g. image editing).

How can this be achieved and which drivers should i install?

Thanks

you can check before ( high priority ) and version nvidia drivers

sudo mhwd -d -l

So it means that V 470 is the correct driver?
This is the output of mhwd:

No.

Out of what is available there the preferable profile is the latest - video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime.

But you didnt show the ‘installed’ section.

If you cannot for some reason then show us the output of

mhwd -li

sudo mhwd -li does give this result:

Warning: No installed PCI configs!
Warning: No installed USB configs!

but the previous commands (sudo mhwd -d -l ) full output is this, so i think there is “nothing” installed so far. During setup of Manjaro, i selected the open-source drivers.

Thanks, but your Link goes to the Windows version.
Will search for the Linux version now.

EDIT: Got it here

You arent supposed to get it manually.

sudo mhwd -i pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime

Many thanks!
