When downloading wallpepers, I do not see them in my Wallpapers after downloading them. Is there another folder they are going to?
They “go” in your ~/.local/share/wallpapers/ created automatically when installing from the store …

Only if they are only for that single user.
If they are to applied to more than one user, or in a system setting (like an SDDM background) then it must be placed in a system location, such as /usr/share/wallpapers.
