As i know NVIDIA fixes some bugs in latest drivers in R560 branch. When we can wait NVIDIA R560 in Manjaro? Very want enjoy stable Wayland on NVIDIA.
nvidia v. 560 is in the Unstable branch.
You can also install nvidia-beta-dkms v. 560 via chaotic-aur (using gnome / wayland - machine runs quite smooth; but careful, then there are needed some more beta packages too… and chaotic-aur! and then next update could be maybe tricky, i don’t know yet 
; kde not yet tested); and before nvidia-dkms v. 555 (didn’t downgrade to nvidia v. 550) was giving me no trouble on my setup with wayland / gnome too.
Third-party repos are not supported by Manjaro!

560 still has some serious bugs, like for example it makes running Wayland Vulkan apps on iGPU (on laptops with dual GPUs) not possible at all.
I think (this is only an educated guess) 560 will hit the stable branch when it reaches NVIDIA’s production branch - see: Unix Drivers | NVIDIA (it’s currently on new feature branch) and is deemed stable by Manjaro team
