When is plasma 6.1.5 going to be released to stable?

When is plasma going to update? I have an issue with plasma 6.0.5 due to which, I get bad performance. I switched from manjaro because of it. I want to switch back but I am waiting.

You can always switch branches to our testing branch, which had 6.1 since a long time: Switching Branches - Manjaro or even install it with our latest review ISOs: Release 202409200130 · manjaro/release-review · GitHub

6.2 went into KDE beta recently. Maybe you will soon be asking about that. KDE Plasma 6.2 Beta Release - KDE Community

I’m guessing, soon; or, at least, soon enough…

No beta software. I am asking about plasma 6.1.5 stable. After plasma 6.2.0 stable is released. People will ask about that.

Welcome to the Forum!

Plasma releases will only come to the Stable branch once the critical bugs have been fixed, particularly affecting Nvidia users at the present time.

As suggested above, there are the Testing and Unstable branches, if you wish to use those.

Experience has shown that people invariably ask about software before its ready to be released to any given distribution.

Plasma 6.1.5 may be considered stable by KDE, and possibly Arch, but that doesn’t mean it’s ready for Manjaro yet.

Have some patience, and before you know it, you’ll be screaming “When is Plasma 6.2.0 going to be released to Stable?”.

You distro hoped, instead of running one command to get on the branch providing what you ask for… very smart.

I was on the testing branch until I got black screens with the 6.1.5 update. Since then I figured it might have been because of the legacy coded Elegance theme I was using.
Anyway, I was happy to switch down to stable branch and the Oxygen theme.
