When I open two programs the system freezes

Before I explain, I have read most of the problems, but I haven’t found any that is quite similar to mine. The problem is that I open two programs, then the system freezes completely. To clarify more, I always use the Firefox browser, and when I open another program with the browser still open, for example Steam, the device freezes.

Sounds like you’re running out of RAM. Adding some swap should help.

Umm why then i mean how im not open triple programs or something why its full and change the swap from 60 to 10 bc it was so laggy

can you write that again in a comprehensible way?

ok i will do but if it back laggy i will reduse it bc i have hard disk not ssd

But just in case … modifying the swappiness setting does not create SWAP.

For those settings to have any effect you will need SWAP configured and enabled.
