Whats up with the current realtime kernel?

i was running kernel 5.10 with pipe wire up to now and have just switched to 5.17 real-time to improve audio performance. im getting around 3000 xruns in one hours with exactly the same settings as before. thats exactly what it should fix. i went through the pipe wire optimization instruction but nothing seems to work.

whats up with that?

You should install 5.15.xx-rt instead …

that works a lot better, thanks! im still getting xruns but not more than with the LTS kernel - which is actually not bad in that respect. i think i can iron those out somehow with optimization. or the cpu governor?
