Whats this awesome extra terminal stuff and how do it use it?

Running latest Gnome version and I am seeing some extra stuff in the terminal that I would like to use.

But I don´t know how :slightly_frowning_face:

Also, I don’t know how its called and that makes it even harder for me to search online for help for it.

Its the awesome extra stuff in the terminal with history of commands and such. When you start typing you instantly see if you type it before but I have no clue how to make use of it all.

Please somebody enlighten me what this all is :smiling_face:

What you’re seeing in the terminal is the zsh shell, which is the default in the Gnome edition as far as I know.
