After today’s update, I got another connection that I didn’t have before. And it cannot be removed, disconnected from it. What could it be?

lo is the loopback
network device, it is present on all computers, you should only worry if you did NOT have one

Please search before posting.
Sometime in the past 2 days (not sure when exactly) a loopback network appeared in the KDE network settings. I am not sure exactly what triggered it. I do see the network being used, though I haven’t found a pattern for when that happens.

Thanks for the tip, otherwise I already started encrypting data and disconnecting all devices from the network (just kidding).

It’s a change in NetworkManager 1.42.
Will be fixed in Plasma 5.27.1.
