Hi Team!
I’m sort of new to probing things in linux. I was looking at tcpdump output and I noticed a router using of a LLDP protocol. According to wikipedia (.org/wiki/LLDP) some info about “System name and description” is provided to the router. I’d like to know what info is provided.
Is it just the MAC address, or is other potentially uniquely identifying data sent?
Ideally I would be able to learn before trying to connect to the same router again.
Cheers and thanks in advance for any helpful answers.
