What image does Pine64 use for Pinephone?

My Pinephone came with Manjaro with plasma-mobile but I messed something up and now it won’t boot past the KDE logo.

I decided the easiest thing to do would be to reflash the OS since I don’t really have anything on it but fixing it would be great aswell if anyone knows how.

I’ve tried Manjaro w plasma-mobile beta 14 15 and prelease 16 none of them are the same. Pine64 said that they don’t develop any software for the thing but I can’t find anything like what it came with.

The releases on the manjaro page Download ARM – Manjaro are super outdated and I’m at a loss.

If anyone knows where the find the right image or how to fix the boot loop please let me know. I love the little thing and am eager to find and report as many bugs as I can to help mobile linux grow into the best it can be!

Unfortunately the old images is all there is i think, since the manjaro arm development has been frozen.

The Manjaro Development Pinephone Images (Phosh, Plasma Mobile) are newer, but unfortunately development has been stopped for awhile now. Packages have not been updated since last summer or so.

We stopped to support Pine64 products a while go. Alternatives are:

Really? That’s very sad to hear. You guys had the best working software on it.

Where can I find more info on why this happened?

And if I’m not over stepping too far I would suggest putting a notice banner on the download page for the Pinephone arm images and in the github repo where the betas are. It would’ve saved me quite a bit of confusion.

Thank you for letting me know
